YOUR MISSION
- As Sr. People Partner for Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Uganda and Kenya, you'll own the HR 360 partnership across four of Glovo's fastest-growing African markets, driving talent density, retention and performance across teams led by four Operations Managers. Over the next 12-18 months, the mission is to build proactive, data-driven talent strategies that directly move the business, while embedding Glovo's high-performance culture across a fast-scaling, multicultural region.
THE JOURNEY
- Partner with GMs and local management teams (M1/M2/IC3) across Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Uganda and Kenya to align people strategy with business priorities.
- Manage and support 4 OMs
- Own full HR 360 processes end to end, working independently while staying aligned with global HR CoEs.
- Use workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and recommend business-aligned solutions.
- Influence, and where needed challenge, HR CoE-designed solutions (Rewards, L&D, Talent Management) so they fit local business needs.
- Drive talent density and retention of key talent, partnering with leaders on performance management for both top and low performers.
- Lead organizational design and reorg processes, balancing business outcomes with employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with local labor law and work inspection requirements across all four markets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 4 years in full HR Generalist roles.
- Fluency in English; French for the Ivory Coast market.
- Hands-on experience with HR Tech (HRIS, ATS) and reporting HR metrics.
- Openness to travel regularly across Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Uganda and Kenya.
- Nice to have: people management experience, labor law context across West/East Africa, and experience in a multinational environment with structured processes and reporting.
