Privacy Policy

Job seekers (WhatsApp): your WhatsApp phone number, the messages you send our bot (such as searches and category choices), and your job alert preferences. We do not ask for your CV, ID number, or any payment details.

Employers: the company name, work email, and optional phone number you submit on our employer form.

Website: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and performance. Jobs you bookmark are stored only in your own browser's local storage — they never leave your device.

We use your information to:

• Reply to your messages and show you relevant jobs;
• Send job alerts you have asked for (you can stop them at any time);
• Contact employers about setting up their listings;
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never charge job seekers.

When you apply to a job, you are taken to the employer's own application page — what you submit there is governed by their privacy policy. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the platform (for example, WhatsApp/Meta delivers our messages), and with authorities where the law requires it.

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it. Data is stored on secured servers with access limited to people who need it to operate Ping Kazi.

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or use our contact page. Sending “STOP” to our WhatsApp number ends job alerts immediately.

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you on WhatsApp or on this site.
