Job description & requirements

Responsibilities

  • Monitor clients' functional assessments and formulation of necessary interventions;
  • Maintain records and data relating to patients;
  • Supervise the provision of health education to patients and caregivers;
  • Spearhead home environmental assessment;
  • Monitor follow-up on the patient's progress;
  • Promote data collection and for research;
  • Prepare periodic reports;
  • Promote and enhance mentorship and coaching strategies with a view to be consistent with the technical services principles and practices in water and sanitation provision.
  • Steer development, implementation, monitoring and review of a robust performance management system through providing oversight of the delivery of the annual performance contract and the strategic plan

Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Professional Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution
  • Professional Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing
  • Academic Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution
  • Professional Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience,three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Therapist I or in a comparable position
