Job description & requirements
Responsibilities
- Prepare and provide medications in accordance with prescriptions and standard practices.
- Advise patients on the proper use of prescribed medications.
- Monitor and replenish medical and pharmaceutical supplies in the pharmacy or medical stores.
- Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical inventory and ensuring stock levels are sufficient.
- Adhere to the Pharmacy and Poisons Board guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in community health activities like immunization campaigns or distribution of health supplies.
- Handle routine documentation, such as filling out requisition forms and managing patient files where needed.
Qualifications / Work Experience
- Academic Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized training institution
- Professional Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)
- Professional A valid practicing licenses
