For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, Petroleum Economics, Quantitative Economics, Public Policy Economics, or Statistics from a university recognized in Kenya.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: -
- collecting, compiling and updating refined petroleum products consumption data;
- analyzing data on petroleum projects and programs;
- forecasting market trends for crude oil, gas, and refined petroleum products;
- participating in monitoring of petroleum supply chains and strategic stocks;
