Job Description
- We are looking for a qualified and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a detergent manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining product quality, supervising production staff, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily detergent production activities.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Supervise production staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Monitor mixing, formulation, filling, packaging, and storage processes.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved formulations and quality standards.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
- Conduct production checks and coordinate with the Quality Control team.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare production reports.
- Ensure production machinery and equipment are properly operated and maintained.
- Enforce workplace health, safety, hygiene, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Identify production challenges and implement corrective measures.
- Train and guide production employees on proper production procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable manufacturing standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in detergent, soap, chemical, FMCG, or related manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Proven experience supervising production teams.
- Good understanding of chemical handling, formulation, quality control, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with production machinery and manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
