JOB POSITION: PLANT LAYOUT DESIGNER
Plant Layout Design
- Develop and maintain the overall plant master layout of cement plant or heavy industries.
- Adapt standard equipment designs to fit the project's specific topography.
- Incorporate access and maintenance routing into the layout.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, tolerances and regulations.
- Integrating civil foundation footprints and structural contours into the mechanical layout.
Specialized Equipment and Machinery Modelling
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings.
- Draft structural and mechanical interfaces
- Design material handling system.
Vendor Engineering Management
- Vendor drawing reconciliation and manage drawing version controls.
- Review, verify vendor drawings to ensure they match project technical specifications.
- Map out mechanical, structural and electrical interface points between vendor supplied machinery and engineering drawings.
- Generate bill of materials as per drawing specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma in mechanical drafting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of plant layout, GA drawing review.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD.
- Experience 7-12 years
