About the Role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Legal Assistant to support our Personal Injury team by managing medical record and billing requests, communicating with healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate case documentation.
- The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working with case management systems and multiple communication channels. Previous legal experience is preferred; however, we will also consider high-potential candidates with strong administrative or customer service backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and follow up on medical record and billing requests.
- Communicate with medical providers via phone and email regarding outstanding requests.
- Review and interpret previously submitted medical records and billing documentation.
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation within the case management system.
- Update records and enter detailed information regarding provider communications.
- Identify pending items and ensure timely follow-up.
- Escalate issues requiring legal review to the assigned Paralegal.
- Support the legal team with administrative and case-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Medical Records in a Law Firm
- Advanced English level (C1)
