About the Role
- Twyford International Kenya Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch Specialist to join our team in Kajiado.The successful candidate will coordinate daily dispatch operations, ensure accurate documentation, stock movements and facilitate the timely delivery of finished goods to customers and distributors.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in warehouse dispatch, logistics coordination, and dispatch documentation,preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure orders are processed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Verify sales orders, delivery notes, invoices, picking lists, and other relevant dispatch documents.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure the correct products and quantities are picked, verified, and loaded.
- Liaise with sales teams, transporters, drivers, and customers to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on delayed, incomplete, or unsuccessful deliveries.
- Ensure all outgoing goods are properly documented and authorized before release.
- Update dispatch records and relevant ERP systems, including SAP where applicable.
- Reconcile dispatched quantities against approved orders and delivery documentation.
- Identify, document, and report stock discrepancies, loading errors, damaged goods, and other dispatch-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch reports and shipment records.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory control requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in dispatch, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution.
- Experience in dispatch documentation, stock movement control, and delivery coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP/Warehouse Management Systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- High levels of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
