Job description & requirements
Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve: ensuring efficient and proper organization and management of hospitality services; carrying out on-the-job training of staff; supervision of staff; monitoring staff performance; ensuring conformity with set standards; appraising staff; reviewing menus; carrying out training needs assessment yearly; participating in budgeting; and ensuring use of standard operating procedures.
For appointment to this level a candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management; Housekeeping and Front Office Management, Housekeeping and laundry operations, Hospitality Management or a related qualification from a recognised institution; and
- Proficiency in Computer application.
